Primavera Sound 2013. Last week I went to Primavera sound to photograph the bands on the red bull tour bus. Although shooting right next to a speaker has left me slightly deaf it was an amazing experience! The people from red bull were fantastic to work with. A big thank you in particular to Santa Rita and Sultan Bathery, you were great fun to photograph!

Mexico, March 2013. I travelled to Mexico City for 2 weeks in March with my boyfriend who is from there. We did a few trips during the 2 weeks to Merida and Mahaual, near Belize. It was such an experience! I was blown away by the warmth and generosity of some of the people I met. It’s definitely a country I would like to explore more…

The Fluhalp band

I recently visited the beautiful Swiss town of Zermatt and spent a day photographing the very talented Fluhalp band! 😉

Zermatt

I just spent the last 10 days in beautiful Zermatt, Switzerland….

Susannah & Freddie

I had a lovely day last week photographing the gorgeous Susannah Orchard and Freddie Lund.

Germán and Caroline, April 5th 2012.

This Easter I went to London to photograph Germán and Caroline Guerrero’s wedding. The couple live in Barcelona. Germán is Catalán and Caroline is from the UK. They chose the magnificent 18th century Botleys Mansion in Surrey, as their wedding venue.

I thoroughly enjoyed shooting this wedding! Despite the chilly April breeze we had lots of fun creating the couple and group shots. Lots of the guests really got into the spirit of having fun with the photos, especially towards the end of the evening. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much whilst “working”.

A big thank you to Caz and Germán and all the guests for such a memorable and fun day. You were a joy to photograph!

Here is a testimonial from the couple:

From the day we asked Suzie to be our wedding photographer, we knew we’d made the right decision.  We met up on various occasions before the wedding and she was open and attentive to all of our ideas.  She also gave us lots of suggestions, all of which were fantastic.

On our wedding day she began photographing from the outset, getting those all-important “preparation shots”.  She was very laid back and natural making us all feel very at ease when having our photos taken.

The photos she took are amazing.  We asked for a selection of both posed and natural photos and that’s exactly what we got.  The final result is fantastic.

Suzie stayed the whole day and kept smiling throughout, never missing an opportunity.  She happily listened to all our requests on the day – no matter how ridiculous they seemed – and we have some really funny shots which everybody loves!

We have probably looked at our photos about 100 times already and each time they make us smile.  All of our guests have commented on how fantastic they are.  We are over the moon with our photos and Suzie was excellent on the day.  Thank you so much for everything, you truly captured the happiness and fun of the day.

Caroline and Germán.
